About School Direct/Apprenticeships

We pride ourselves in providing outstanding support to our trainees both through School Direct and Apprenticeships with 100% pass rate for 21/22. We are exceptionally proud of our network of talented and experienced mentors within our schools, all being supported by our Lead mentors. Our new partnership with Equalitas has enabled our schools to take advantage of their apprenticeship levy both for Local Authority schools and academies. To see a full list of opportunities available please see click here.  

We are currently offering places via the tuition fee route and salaried route.

Tuition Fee Route

The tuition fee route into teacher training generally attracts some level of bursary depending on what you want to teach and your degree qualification. You do not have to be a recent graduate to receive a bursary.

You pay tuition fees, either from student finance, your savings or your bursary, and at the end of the course you will either receive a PGCE or 60 credits towards a Master’s as well as qualified teacher status (QTS).

The Salaried Route

On the Salaried School Direct programme you will be paid a wage whilst you train.

Apprenticeships
